Mr. Vargas has been certified as a Close Quarter Combatives instructor by several organizations. Currently he holds instructorship in Military Unarmed Combat under Gus Michalik of the Black Arts Society, Instructorship in Pro-Systems Combatives under Joseph Truncale, Combato Instructorship under John Roberts, instructorship in the I.T.M.I. Close Combat System under Gilberto Pauciullo.  Mr. Vargas also holds instructor rank in Krav Maga under Cesar Gomez of the International Kapap Krav Maga Association and holds official recognition as a Krav Maga instructor under Chuck Norris’ United Fighting Arts Federation. Mr. Vargas has offered combatives training to Units such as the Virginia Defense Force, as well as individuals from various military organizations and high risk professions. Raven Tactical International offers training in a variety of Combatives systems in seminar, private lesson and work shop formats.
